Core Policies

Education · Economy · Environment · Health Care

01

Education

According to the Government of Canada (2023), Canada is currently facing a scarcity of citizens in the skilled trades due to the higher retirement rates than other careers and the demand in these skilled trades industries. To address this issue, the Vision Canada Party shall increase the funding for apprenticeship and programs that help with the skilled trades. We will also provide and expand paid co-op opportunities while working with provinces to promote the skilled trades as a pathway that provides equal career pathways and wealth to university and college.

02

Economy

According to the Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada (2024), small businesses employ around 5.8 million Canadians, representing an impressive 46.5% of the Canadian private sector workforce. Therefore, small businesses play a vital role in the development and economy of Canada. To support this sector of the economy, the Vision Canada Party promises:

  • to reduce unneeded regulations for these small businesses,
  • to provide tax incentives for businesses that invest into the innovation and technology of Canada,
  • and to expand funding for new business owners.

We will also invest in the infrastructure, specifically for these new businesses, including transportation and high-speed Internet. These policies will help strengthen the Canadian economy, encourage Canadian citizens to innovate, and create more general employment opportunities for Canadians.

03

Environment

According to the Canadian Climate Institute (2025), climate change is quickly increasing the strength and volatility of storms across Canada, which will eventually lead to more frequent hazards such as hail, strong winds, floods, and hurricanes. These weather events naturally put a strain and pressure on Canadian communities, buildings, and the economy. To address this issue, the Vision Canada Party promises:

  • to increase the investment currently allocated in renewable energy and clean technology,
  • to provide economical incentives for businesses and homeowners to use products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
  • and to strengthen the infrastructure by investing in climate-resilient building standards and disaster readiness.
04

Health Care

According to La Grassa (2026), many Canadians are experiencing extended waiting delays to see medical specialists, with some reportedly waiting months on a waitlist before receiving care. These delays can eventually result in postponed treatment, which negatively affects the patients’ health and their quality of life. To address this issue, the Vision Canada Party promises:

  • to allocate more to the federal funding helping provinces recruit and retain more medical staff,
  • to invest in modern digital systems to reduce wait time and improve communications across medical staff,
  • and to create and expand mental health services across Canada.

A practical position

Political Spectrum

Political spectrum placing the Vision Canada Party in the centre, between the Liberal and Conservative parties
Vision Canada Party is positioned at the centre of the political spectrum.

The Vision Canada Party is described as a centrist political party. We believe that the best interest of Canadian citizens is when the country’s government, businesses, and communities work together – not against. Our platform heavily supports and invests into platform supporting education, skilled trades, healthcare, environmental stewardship, and small businesses while encouraging the innovation by Canadian citizens and responsible government expenditure. The Vision Canada Party is unlike radical parties who believes that the government should control the economy, but also unlike reactionary parties, we understand that government investment is needed to help healthcare, education, and build infrastructure. We also aim to balance the economic growth of the country with environmental stewardship and civil programs, which allows Canadians to make a modern, practical choice for Canadians who want long-term solutions instead of extreme, irrational policies.
